The Oximeter arrives in a blue box showing you exactly what the gadget is intended for. On opening there is the Oximeter in a silicone protective cover, a lanyard, 2 AAA batteries and a comprehensive user manual. The manual is in several languages including English and tells you operating, storage and maintenance instructions, specifications and a trouble shooting section. My only criticism is that I would have preferred the manual to be in a slightly bigger print.
It is so easy to use, after inserting the batteries which are supplied, you just press down to open up the “mouth”, insert your finger and it will close automatically on it, press the button and it will start your reading. It is a clear red LCD display with large numbers. When you remove your finger it automatically stops.
It is advertised as suitable for adults and children. I wanted it as I suffer from asthma and respiratory infections so it is handy to be able to take my readings at home alongside my peak flow meter. It is supplied with a lanyard so is also suitable for sports and gym wear if you wanted to record your pulse and oxygen levels whilst training.
I would definitely recommend this product.
